My Nephews
I had fun photographing my nephews. The older one is a hoot. He laughs and talks and tells all kinds of stories. The more I egg on his stories, the wilder they become, the more natural he is. I enjoyed capturing him in his element: holding a conversation! The little one is challenging to photograph. He moves at lightning speed and constantly tries to come behind the camera... he enjoyed playing with me while I photographed him and I was rather pleased with the result :)

Fresh air
First day of "lesser" sickness in a week... so we went for a walk at Botanics (my favourite place!) :). Decided to play with my camera once the walking was done. It was a beautiful morning with nice light for pictures.
As you can see from the photos, A was quite obliging with photo-taking, little N was rather grumpy...
I'm really enjoying my camera btw... Thanks hon!! :)
Mr Spotty
Little N started a weird spate of illness last Tuesday. High fever Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (up to 40 degrees...), then rash on Friday. Was kind of relieved when rash appeared because I thought this surely confirms Roseola. Funny thing is fever went on till Saturday morning (albeit a low grade fever) even after rash appeared which apparently means it is not Roseola. Oh well... it's probably some viral thing. Anyway, he's much better now and I managed to get some photos of Mr Spotty, although these pictures were not of him at the peak of his "spottiness".
Chirpy little fellow, even while spotty. The fussiness in between the chirpiness was actually quite manageable. Phew!
It's been a hard week having both kids sick at the same time (big sis has the flu) and with A being away on work. Big sis has been asked to stay home for a month after this flu to build immunity, so looks like I'll have to work double hard this month ;)!

Nate at Jacob Ballas
Jacob Ballas is an awesome park for the little ones. There's something for everyone, lots of plants, fruits, flowers and lots of information about all the greenery (very educational), water play, sand play, large treehouse playground, bridge for the kids... Even my mom and Nate enjoyed our morning walk. He was particularly fascinated by the gourds and the sand at the playground :).
