Wow... ages!

Haven't blogged in ages!! Admittedly, FBing is much faster and more convenient when pregnant and watching two young kids.

I've been pregnant, we have moved, and now I've delivered No. 3...

My kids look very much alike as newborns, but this little one is so like Missy at birth, they could pass off as twins if they were born at the same time...

Where did the time go?

My kids are growing up so fast. I can't even seem to keep up with photos of them each month.

Bubbles is already 15 months old, imitating animal sounds, giving up baby words, exchanging them for big kid words ("milk milk" instead of "nen nen"), talking to us with actions, words and his eyes. He can walk, but refuses to, he crawls at super speeds and climbs like a champ!

Missy is almost 5. She carries on entire conversations on the phone with Papa, Ah Mah, anyone who will chat with her. She reads Mandarin (WOO HOO!!) now and has even figured out some complicated words. It's been a long journey, but it seems to have clicked in her head and she's deciphering chinese words everywhere, even the subtitles when watching TV programmes! She's not quite reading English yet but is now applying her deciphering of Chinese skills to English reading?! She has really lost all her "babyness" and has become a big girl... Where did the first 5 years go???

Amazing Balloonist

Met this amazing balloonist at Church yesterday. She can really turn balloons into almost anything!

Check out Missy's Sleeping Beauty and Flower Handbag!! We should have taken photos of the Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Octopus, Giraffe, Reindeer and various other balloon creations by her...

Definitely the best balloonist I've seen so far :)

My 1 year old

Funny and chatty, sweet and affectionate, curious and excitable, exuberant and sensitive, delighting in all the small things... we love you our little one year old. Happy Birthday!! Our lives have been greatly enriched with the immeasurable joy that you bring us.

Bubbles is turning 1!!

When I look at Bubbles, I can hardly believe how quickly the first year went by. Bubbles went from a baby blob to a super cute adorable boy with a big cheeky streak!! He talks and talks his mixed up babbling of proper words and made up words, he gets into everything, he loves all kinds of gadgets, he loves making his sister scream while chasing her on all fours. He's not walking yet, but he seems so much like a big boy to us with his many expressions, mostly fake to get our sympathy! Hahaha :)

Here he is, the day before he turns one. Check out the fake "I'm going to cry so don't scold me" face (this is what happens when we tell him "No No!")....
