Bubbles is turning 1!!

When I look at Bubbles, I can hardly believe how quickly the first year went by.  Bubbles went from a baby blob to a super cute adorable boy with a big cheeky streak!!  He talks and talks his mixed up babbling of proper words and made up words, he gets into everything, he loves all kinds of gadgets, he loves making his sister scream while chasing her on all fours.  He's not walking yet, but he seems so much like a big boy to us with his many expressions, mostly fake to get our sympathy! Hahaha :)

Here he is, the day before he turns one.  Check out the fake "I'm going to cry so don't scold me" face (this is what happens when we tell him "No No!")....

Nate's allergic to sunscreen, so he just has to wear a long sleeve high protection rashguard when out in the sun. Shockingly, it's for a 2 year old...

At 10.5 months, N is cheeky cheeky cheeky... between crawling, standing and cruising, he gets into everything!! His current favourite things to do are: 1. Blow Bubbles in drinking water, 2. Blow Bubbles in Bath Water, 3. Blow Bubbles in the Swimming Pool... resulting in Big Sis calling him "Bubbles"... ;)

10 Months!

Crawling like crazy now... he's all over the place at the same time (how that can be possible, I don't know...). We've given in and put up the baby "jail".  Added new words to his vocabulary: "Ball" and "Yum". Gestures for you to "Come" and responds to simple instructions like kiss and "manja" someone (i.e. be affectionate). Makes dramatic demonstrations of how much he likes or dislikes a particular food, either by exaggerating the "mmm so delicious" mouth movements or by refusing to open his mouth at all. Loves a good "game" with his sister who is ever-willing to entertain him leading to crazy giggles from both.  

Chubs is really our Mr Happy :)
